Get ready to put on your boogie shoes!
Le Gourmet, entering its 9th year in 2011, is the single largest fundraiser in support of the James Madison University School of Hospitality, Sport & Recreation Management Program. This prestigious program continues to set The Gold Standard in hospitality education by producing high quality and much sought after graduates who consistently excel in this highly competitive field. The 2011 theme, Solid Gold, will pay tribute to the 1970's and provide a spirited evening in support of the program while experiencing the very best the hospitality industry has to offer.
JMU’s purple and gold school colors will be on dazzling display throughout the
U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s International Hall of Flags which will be transformed
into a 70's style dance party.
Silent and Live Auctions will offer attendees an opportunity to bid on high
caliber items donated by generous alumni and friends from across the
globe. As in the past, creative cuisine will be provided by RSVP
Catering, the 2009 JMU Corporate Citizen Awardee. Of course, no “Le
Gourmet” would be complete without live entertainment. You will dance the night away to "Prime Time" one of the Mid-Atlantic region's finest show bands.
